Chinese Chews (My Grandmama)

     
     
    Ingredients
     
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 eggs
Sift Together
 
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powde
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

 
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

 
Directions

Melt butter and stir in sugar; then add eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and then nuts.  Spread into a greased baking pan and bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
